Application for 2008 National Hip Hop Political Convention Scholarship

The National Hip Hop Political Convention will hold its bi-annual convention this year in Las Vegas, NV from August 1-3. The Austin LOC invites you to submit an application for funding to attend the convention. Awards will include conference registration and lodging. Awards will be determined by a committee of NHHPC-ATX-LOC members.

Please make sure that you are available to travel between Aug. 1, 2008 and August 3, 2008, before applying.

You must be between the ages of 18-25.

**Application Essay**
In 500 words or less, please explain why you would like to go to the convention and what you hope to gain from the experience.

Application deadline is July 18th!! No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
