The National Hip Hop Political Convention (NHHPC) is a non-profit 501c3 organization promoting political education while encouraging grassroots and civic engagement using the influence of Hip Hop Culture. This site is for the local organizing committee in Austin, TX.
The NHHPC provides a voice to a community that has historically been disenfranchised and neglected. The NHHPC teams up organizers, activists, elected officials and concerned citizens to collectively advocate progressive initiatives through increasing civic education, civic engagement, direct action, boycotts, labor organizing, protest, self-transformation and through partnership with organizations and efforts that have common goals.
